The men’s Orient TAA02002D, also known as the Mako II, belongs to the Sport series and offers an attractive sporty look inspired by diving watches, but is also suitable for everyday wear.
The case of the Orient AA02002D is made of stainless steel and houses the Orient F6922 mechanical movement with automatic winding. It contains 22 jewels, operates at a frequency of 21,600 semi-frequencies per hour and offers a date and day of the week display function at the 3 position. This movement also features a stopping of the seconds hand when the watch is set ( calledhacking). The unidirectional lunette is used to measure time not only underwater, while the distinctive indices and hands ensure excellent legibility. In the dark or in poor lighting you will appreciate the luminescence on the hands and indices.
The water resistance of this model is 200 m, so the watch can handle contact with water, including activities such as swimming or even diving. The screw-down crown helps to ensure all this. The dial is protected by a mineral glass. The Orient TAA02002D comes on a steel bracelet and is a medium-sized watch thanks to the 41.5mm case diameter.
